Sorry Guys

This whole working two jobs and trying to find time to post on here about my poker grind is hard. Yet i have some awesome news for everyone. My current Bank Roll is just under $300.00 this is a huge accomplishment. Considering that i began with $0.00, and grinded the step tourneys until striking a win!

I later took this win of the dollar and made it into around six dollars from the .11 centers. Which is when i began playing .60 mtts. I took second in one of em for 8ish dollars which increased the roll. I had it to just under 100 from all the tourneys i was playing.

The exciting news is that just 2 days i played the biggest buyin of this grind so far. Which happened to be a $11 mtt tourney with 700 guranteed. I eventually crushed this tourney, and turned out with second place for $140. This is not what i expected considering i was in 18th place when 18 remained in the tourney. Yet the heads up match was disgusting, for the Dbag (excuse french :P) got super lucky. I had raised it 5BB pre flop with A9 he flatted flop came 922 so i bet again, river came 2 so i shipped it. He called my preflop raise with 102, not a very good call in my opinion, so therefore he got lucky. The next hand i flopped top pair on J high board, jammed again obv. with short stack. And he calls with bottom pair and turns trips. So there for i lost, and got 140 instead of 224, very disapointing.

Never the less im crushing it :)

Racism in 2011

Alright im gonna start this off with just simply how shocked i was this happened. I will give you a little back ground on my life. I grew up in central Wisconsin in a town called wausau with about 30k people, and id say about half were of other cultures. Next, my best friend is black (not to clarify my standing :)) but its just riduclous to think that their are still racists out there today. I mean what the hell are you thinking, please join society and become a good person and accept people. Like how the hell would you feel if you were minority, and treated like shit????

Alright so on to the story not going to go into much detail, for job protection ofcourse. I have simply read to many things about people losing jobs over comments on social networks. That shit aint gonna happen to me, because im not even going to say where i work.

So i was working out some merchandise into some aisles at work today with my coworker, who just so happens to be black. When a customer walked past and she asked her if she needed any help and the customer replied with a no. We proceeded to work on our project and not even a minute later the customer came straight to me while i was obviously much more ocupied than my coworker who was simply watching me put these big ass things on the shelf. So me being a good employee (insert brag) continued to help the customer. The next thing shocked me even more, was when she took me to this play house. She went on to say "not to be racist but". Stop right there alright so ever since i was young this was a huge sign that someones a racist(just saying). Alright continuing, she went on to ask if we had a play house without a colored toy on it, meaning with white toys on the picture instead.

I mean am i just that indifferent about shit like that, or am i taking to much of concern with this incident. Please leave comments/opinions below, would love to hear what you think of this situation!!!

also on the bright side!! Bankroll= just over 30 dollars which started at 0 getting to that 10k goal :P

UH OH MONEY MONEY ROCKIN EVERYWHERE

So followers,

Great news my bank roll has hit an all time high, and hopefully is getting closer to where my opponents is. We are attempting to race each other from 0 to 10,000 on the merge network! Right now my bank roll is just over $20. Can you say hell ya, and fyi im prolly going to order a micros tshirt for additional run good!

Ever since i started working on my game, by studying hand histories it has increased. IF you dont already people get on your hand histories and find your leaks, yes you have leaks. I suggest getting pokertracker which i have a link to on the side. This tracks everything, i have a much longer post about it in my earlier posts if you want to learn more!

Let me just tell you though grinding this is intense and fun at the same time knowing i started from nothing. Yet i almost blew thanks to shitty ass bank roll management. (sorry for language)

Everyone needs to learn bankroll management, if you dont have it you will go busto way too often for anyones liking. Also your stats will look terrible and your not likely to become a winning player. I suggest to have at least 20 buyins of what your trying to play, unless ofcourse its not possible for you to when your playing the .11 super turbos then you gotta try it i guess.

And yes i started this all through the free roll steps, in order to get my first dollar in my account. And now after shipping 8 dollars in the .60 mtt i was able to grind cash games and 60 cents sngs. Which i crushed today and yesterday in order to get my bank roll over 20 dollars. My goal right now is 1,000 by January 1st of 2012. This may seem like a steep goal but if im able to slowly crimb up the ladders in stakes it is very doable!

Another huge thing will be doing the sattys into higher buyin tournaments and hopes of crushing those for huge wins.

Beat of the day!

So on this wonderful day i was crushing the .11 super turbos so much that i got my bank roll up to 5.00 from nada! So i took a shot at 2.20 KO tourney because i was feeling good about my play. This is terrible idea first off for bankroll management so kids dont try this at home :P but anyways i made it to the final 3 with no bounties :( so i for sure only lost .20 cents at this point in time and i woke up with KK, shoved and lost. Standard! O well my bank roll is at 4.97 right now. I am absolutely loving the challenge of grinding this up to 10k. Please ladies and gents follow along on my journey to glory, just follow the blog to get updates once and awhile. 

Also GO PACK GO, i cant explain how happy i am that they are 5-0. Brewers failed me today but they will turn it around

Wisconsin SPORTS

Alright i just cant go on without making a post about how awesome the Wisconsin is doing in all sports! To start it off the defending world champions aka THE PACKERS are 5-0! They have started many games in the deficit but continue to prove why they are defending world champions. This pumps me up so much, because this year i am 21 and will be able to celebrate the success of them fully this year. I am located here in Green bay, and man can i tell you this town went nuts last year.

On to the next one, the brewers made it to the post season, and are looking good to see the world series. Yes this is a fact, and no i did not stutter! In fact they came back in the last game from being down 5 to 2 and won it!

Lastly, we have the wisconsin badgers, who are crushing the college football.

Bankroll update: $2.36

Crushed a ton of the .11 cent super turbos today, then took a shot at the .60 mtt tourney. Only to bust my first hand played with QQ vs KK so sick, but standard.

Tilttacular

So their is this wonderful thing called tilt, sometimes good but most of the time bad! When i first started grinding online tilt was my biggest enemy, because i never understood why people were so dumb. Yet now i take advantage of it, because when people think im tilting im really not so i take advantage and take their chips :)

So ladies and gentleman learn from others before blowing your own bank rolls, dont allow stupid play get under your skin. Avoiding tilt will save you tons and tons of money throughout your life! Next, dont allow peoples table talk to get to you but if it does, just turn the chat off, problem solved.

Lastly, ill go into my way to make people tilt, you know the good part about it!!! I dont do this often because i normally dont chat at all, but one tourney recently i tried it! I dont know if i was truly getting under these peoples skin or not, but every time i slide chips my way i typed "ez game". They persited to yell at me to stop f***ing saying that, one even went on to saying things like "your mom is ez game". I consistently continued to say it after every pot i was in, whether i won it or not!! Long story short the one kid that was complaining the most shoved with Q2 Off suit i and busted him with pocket KK. Topped it off with an "ez game" to rub it in his face.

Just thought id share a funny story about tilt and some tips.

Race to 10,000 from 0

Alright Matt Dawson, i see your thinking your going to go 0 to 10,000 on the merge network. So lets make it a friendly competition! Even though i see you have a slight head start, aka 100 dollars more than me, but i will catch you! So i here by dare you to beat me to 10,000, we will have to work out some sort of reward for whoever wins. I believe we should show chris "jesus" ferguson who is boss of online poker, because he sure isnt after stealing our money through full tilt poker!

My current bank roll is $00.73, so let the games begin!!!!!!

On another note, im sorry to inform all of you that Carbon poker is not currently accepting new players from the united states. Please continue to check in with my blog to see updates on their progress of allowing Us players to join again. They have kindly asked me to check back in with them in 2 weeks, therefore i am hoping by then they are allowing you guys to join the fun. Pokertracker Say What?

So why the hell do i want to spend up to $90 on poker tracking software? Well listen here and ill explain in general why you will love it! First off wouldnt it be nice to be able to track your earnings, without having a note pad or typing it up yourself. Well bam they got that covered for you, i mean they even make these awesome graphs that can break it down for you. Also with all this money in mind, wouldnt it be nice to find out where your losing it? I sure and hell would say so, it shows you where on the table your losing it and even the exact hands that your winning and losing with.

Next of we are going to go into, what it does for you on the table! For example, i sure love knowing how often people are entering the pot on their own. These are the people you can abuse, but dont let them abuse you by seeing too many cards and getting there. You can also track how few times people are entering the pot, these are classified as nits.(aka tight bitches) Stay away from these fools unless you want to go bankrupt, without a premium hand that is!

Thats enough of a break down for now, because i convinced myself again that its an awesome purchase. I have a convenient link placed on the left which you can use to learn more!

Patience is Everything

Patience is the key to success in life and poker! I mean i am not trying to say patience is everything in poker you obviously need to other skills to take advantage of all those donks :) Yet you have to have it otherwise you will mix it up with them in unfortunate spots and go broke. First off the less hands you play the tighter your image is which will help your game because this way people will begin to believe you. I mean with all the awesome tracking programs out there today you have to assume most people are using them at any stakes. So they will take advantage of the people that play way to many hands. So by upholding the most patience possible, you will be able to make moves when need be. I always go back to my biggest win so far out of one tourney which was 1800 in an $11.00 tourney. Their were 1,111 entrants (funny number right) and i started off by only playing 5 hands in the first hour and 4 of them were because i could check my big blind. Just by doing that almost half of the field was gone, and i avoided getting donked out early. So i grinded my way into bursting the money bubble with the shortest stack of 2 BB. Long story short I played uber tight by using that skill, you know patience, and a ton of luck to end up winning the tourney!!

So basically what im trying to get across to you guys is that those pocket jacks are pretty but is it really a good time to get those chips in? The answer is NO I HATE POCKET JACKS! lol

Alright so here is the low down on my blog, meaning all the funky advertisements! The donate one will be used to create/grow my poker fund to be able to increase my playing stakes and allow me to begin staking people via parttimepoker. Begining of time

So its about time i create a blog about poker, in order to compete with people like tennepenne and ei8htyei8ht. I mean what the hell else am i suppose to do with my free time besides bug tennepenne when i see her tweet about tilting! Back when i was able to play on pokerstars i grinded the 2.20 180 mans but now i play pretty much anything on Carbon poker. This skin is based on the merge network, the players in micro stakes are pretty damn weak. Pretty soon i will include graphs and shit in order to complete the coolness of this blog like ei8htyei8hts! If you havent already you should give the merge network a shot for a place to grind you can satty your way into the 100k gurantee for 2 dollars. Can you say easy game?
